From the Youth Minister:
It is hard to believe yet another year has come and gone. I have so many unforgettable memories of our students serving, leading, reaching out to their friends, and growing stronger in their faith this year. I, as always, appreciate so much your prayers as our students attempt to live for Christ in a very un-christian world.
We will celebrate Christmas this year with our annual ProgressiveDinner. It will be held on Monday evening Dec. 22. We will meet at the CAB where each Life Group will leave to go to their own special Christmas dinner. They will return to the CAB for "Dirty Santa" and dessert. Students, if you wish to participate in dirty santa, please remember to bring a $15 regular gift (not gag gift) with you when you come. Students will need to be picked up at 9:00 form the CAB.
We have some special trips and activities planned in the spring of 2015, so stay tuned for details. Our MFuge 2015 signups have begun and we filled up all spots within an hour of me starting the list. if you want to go, please get your name on the waiting list. We always have spots open up. The dates again are Tues -Sat. June 23-27 at Ridgecrest, NC.
Finally, I and the McCullough's want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas. We feel so fortunate to be part of FBC Newbern. As you celebrate the birth of our Savior, I hope you will also celebrate the birth of our Savior in you.
